homeland-morena-baccarin-morgan-saylor-series-regular-season-4.jpgGood news, Dana Brody haters: you'll probably be seeing a lot less of her in Season 4 of "Homeland." Morgan Saylor, who plays the much-loathed teenage daughter of Damian Lewis' terrorist/war hero, Sgt. Nicholas Brody, and Morena Baccarin, who plays his wife, Jessica, are both being downgraded for Season 4.

According to TVLine, the actresses will not be series regulars in the new season. That doesn't necessarily mean they're leaving the show, because they could return on a guest star basis, but it's unclear how much they will appear. Diego Klattenhoff (Mike) appeared as a guest star in Season 3 while shooting his new NBC drama, "The Blacklist," at the same time.

Story-wise, this makes a lot of sense, considering the two characters have been seen less and less throughout the third season, but it'll be interesting to see how the finale, airing Sunday (Dec. 15) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime, shakes out.

Will you be sad to see Dana and Jessica a whole lot less in Season 3?
