'Homeland' Season 3: Damian Lewis on Brody's lesser presence

It's no secret that fans of "Homeland" won't see Damian Lewis as Brody in Season 3's first two episodes. The biggest question about his character is not when viewers will see the troubled former Congressman next, but where he'll be. Trailers for Season 3 show him on the run in climates much different from the forests of Canada where Carrie Mathison dropped him off, and his journey looks like it will be more difficult in Season 3 than it ever was before.

In a new preview video for "Homeland," Lewis discusses Brody's storylines in the show so far and also teases where they're heading. According to him, audiences will see a whole new incarnation of Nick Brody in Season 3.

"You won't see Brody as a Congressman this year, you won't see him as a marine," he says. "There are many twists and turns. You don't know who to trust. Nobody can be considered your friend. Brody has entered one of the ninth circles of hell. To be continued."

"Homeland" Season 3 premieres on Showtime on Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. ET.
