Hope Solo nude: ESPN Magazine cover bares all
Solo tells Access Hollywood that she got completely nude for the shoot, which took eight hours. "It was one of the hardest photoshoots I've ever done," she says. "It took a lot of courage, obviously, but ESPN is so professional. They keep a very small set. I was... naked in front of 8 people."
She admits that at first, she had some serious nerves. "I started screaming when I dropped the robe," she says, "but by the end of the day I was talking to people like it was nothing."
She says that she wasn't in the most ideal condition for the shoot -- though she looks great to us! "I did the shoot three weeks after the World Cup, so in the World Cup I was obviously in the best shape of my life. Fast forward three weeks, we had lost, I, you know, maybe drank a little bit and took some time off." She did some sit-ups -- completely naked and in front of B-roll video cameras! -- right before the shoot.
