Hope Solo's boyfriend Jerramy Stevens released after assault arrest
According to the Seattle Times, Stevens was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault following an incident early Monday morning at a Kirkland house. Per the police report, Solo's older brother, Marcus, called police after using a "stun gun" while fighting a group of men who weren't invited to a party at his house. After officers talked to Marcus outside, his sister emerged came out with a bloody elbow. She was then reportedly uncooperative with police, yelling at her brother, "Don't say anything to them, Marcus."
While doing a sweep of the home, officers found Stevens on the floor of an upstairs bedroom, where he said he was sleeping. Police noted blood on his cheek and shirt, for which he had no explanation.
Solo and Stevens were originally planning to get married Tuesday. Stevens told police the couple had been arguing about whether to live in Florida or Washington after their wedding. He was then arrested but not charged.
The former Seattle Seahawks player was released Tuesday after Judge Michael Lambo deemed there was "zero" evidence that Stevens was involved in an assault.
