"House of Cards" isn't just a critically praised show. It also crosses the line between fiction and political reality. Marion Barry Jr. -- the former mayor of Washington, D.C. -- and Frank Underwood -- Kevin Spacey's fictional politician on "House of Cards" -- had a lengthy Twitter conversation on Friday (Feb. 14).

Yes, a real (if often larger-than-life) politician and an imaginary one spoke publicly to one another.

As is fitting for such a discussion, the topics included "House of Cards" plots as well as real commentary on Barry. To his credit, Barry took the gentle ribbing in stride. Is it better or worse that the source isn't real?
