Shooting on "House of Cards" Season 2 will soon be underway. Constance Zimmer, who plays reporter Janine Skorsky in the Netflix series, spilled the beans during a Twitter conversation with Ricky Gervais.

"We start shooting Season 2 of #houseofcards in 2 weeks," she wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted.

The second season of "House of Cards" will be 13 episodes just like the first one, and it will similarly be shot in Maryland. Sean Parker has joined the cast to play a venture capitalist. Little is known of the plot of Season 2, and the actors involved in the show have stayed quiet about where it will pick up.

"I sort of know where the story's going to be heading, but it would be silly for me to share because that would ruin a lot of things," Kate Mara said recently. "I'm just as excited to start this season as I was to start the last one. It will be an interesting thing to see where it goes and how it plays out."
