'How I Met Your Mother': Alyson Hannigan wants Jennifer Aniston. Who doesn't?

jennifer-aniston-the-break-up-320.jpgThursday (Jan. 7), as the cast of "How I Met Your Mother" celebrated the sitcom's upcoming 100th episode at the Paley Center for Media, star Alyson Hannigan told reporters she'd love to see Jennifer Aniston on the show.

"I'm going to put that out there!," the actresss -- who just nabbed a People's Choice Award for her "HIMYM" part -- told Extra TV.

For now, however, she'll have to settle for Carrie Underwood and Amanda Peet. Both women are booked for upcoming episodes.

But the elusive "mother" role has still yet to be filled ... as far as we know.

Maybe Aniston can sign on for that.

Could you see Ted Mosby and the lady formerly known as Rachel Green coupling up?
