'How I Met Your Mother': Dave Foley, Chi McBride sign on for Season 6 finale

"How I Met Your Mother" has tapped two very familiar faces for the Season 6 finale, and both roles could potentially become recurring.

Zap2it visited the "HIMYM" set, during the filming of the May 16 finale, where we saw "Human Target" star Chi McBride filming a scene related to the building of the new Goliath National Bank headquarters. He'll play a construction foreman, named Rod, who isn't exactly pleased with Ted ( Josh Radnor) -- which is a problem, consider it's Ted who's designed the new building.

Additionally, Dave Foley ("Kids in the Hall") will appear in the episode as a potential new boss for Marshall ( Jason Segel). The conflicted lawyer takes an interview with a "Mr. Bloom" (Foley), who works at the best environmental law firm in New York.

These are currently only billed as one-off appearances, but considering the characters' involvements with two of our primary players' professional lives, it's not out of the question that we could see them again in Season 7.

This comes just after TV Guide reports that "Fairly Legal" star and "Battlestar Galactica" alum Michael Trucco will be appearing in the season's penultimate episode as a potential love interest for Robin ( Cobie Smulders), known only as "Crush."
