'How I Met Your Mother's' Alyson Hannigan stays at CBS with comedy pilot

alyson-hannigan-cbs-pilot-gi.jpgWith the end of "How I Met Your Mother" getting closer and closer -- the show had a table read for the series finale on Friday (Feb. 14) -- members of its cast are starting to find new jobs.

The latest one to find a new gig is Alyson Hannigan, and she's staying at CBS in a comedy pilot called "More Time with Family." The show stars and was co-created by comedian Tom Papa, who's playing a man who makes a career change in order to have more time with his wife, Cindy (Hannigan), and their kids.

Papa created the show with the husband-and-wife team of Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa ("The King of Queens," "13 Going on 30"). Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are among the show's executive producers, along with the three creators.

Hannigan is the second "HIMYM" regular to score a lead role in a pilot this week. She follows Cristin Milioti, who's starring in NBC's rom-com pilot "A to Z."
