Howard Stern still fueling 'American Idol' rumors with Ellen DeGeneres remarks

howard-stern-2.jpg Howard Stern coming to "American Idol" -- the rumor that won't die.

Howard Stern is still talking about the "American Idol" rumors, which have been denied to Zap2it by a show insider. In fact, we think it was not "American Idol" but actually "America's Got talent" that approached Stern.

Either way, Stern is still on the airways slamming the show. He said on his show (via The Advocate), "Everyone goes, 'If Howard Stern takes over "American Idol," Ellen DeGeneres might leave.' Well, yeah, that's the whole [expletive] idea. I'm not going to sit there with her -- that dummy.'"

This isn't the first time Stern has made disparaging remarks about "Idol," which he claims he watches. He previously said that he would'vd told Carrie Underwood to lose weight, that Fantasia Barrino looks like a Haitian earthquake victim and several other things not fit to print here.
