Hugh Jackman says, at 42, it's harder to stay in shape... does it anyway
But the 42-year-old actor admits that the body does not come easy. In an interview for the the October issue of Men's Fitness, Jackman says working out has gotten harder over the years.
"Over the past three or four years it's gotten a lot tougher," he says. "I have to eat a stricter diet. I have to train even harder. I can't get away with what I used to."
And he says he wouldn't even try if it wasn't a job requirement.
"I don't really enjoy training," he says. "People say it's addictive, but I'm like, 'not so much.' If I weren't getting paid or didn't have a character like Wolverine to maintain, I would just be a tall, lean, fit guy."
Next seen as former fighter in the robot boxing flick "Real Steel," Jackman once again had to get in shape, putting on 30 pounds of muscle for reshoots.
