Hugh Jackman's wife Deb doesn't like his 'Wolverine' body?

hugh-jackman-wolverine-body.jpg Hugh Jackman and his wife, producer Deborra-Lee Furness, are one of Hollywood's cutest couples. The pair have been married since 1996 and have two children together -- Oscar Maximillian, 13, and Ava Eliot, 8.

But despite being married to a gorgeous hunk of a man, Jackman's wife apparently prefers him a little chubby -- not lean and muscular, like when he straps on Wolverine's claws.

"Deb will tell you that she doesn't like [my 'Wolverine' body]. She prefers me chubby because it makes her look better," Jackman tells Entertainment Tonight. But he's dubious about her claims.

"I don't know. I met her on a prison drama where I was pretty jacked in that, and I dare say we wouldn't be together if I hadn't met her with that body," he jokes.

He further tells ET that he had to train more than ever to achieve Wolverine's chiseled physique -- even having to dehydrate before a shirtless fight scene, which left him a little faint. Not the state one wants to be in when sporting adamantium claws (even fake ones).

"I had the real claws on; he had the sword, and it was very precise. I'm very clumsy. I've stabbed more than one person playing this part ... I was glad to walk away from that one [without any accidents]," says Jackman.

Jackman's next Wolverine appearance is in "X Men: Days of Future Past," slated for a May 2014 release.
