Hulk Hogan returns to WWE, will host 'Wrestlemania 30'
World Wrestling Entertainment has confirmed the widely circulated news that Hulk Hogan is returning to the company in time for the 30th anniversary of "Wrestlemania," its signature pay-per-view event. He'll make his first appearance on the Feb. 24 "WWE Monday Night Raw" on USA and also host "Wrestlemania 30" on April 6.
"We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE," chairman and CEO Vince McMahon says in a statement. "It's fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and usher in a new era with the launch of WWE Network."
WWE Network also launches Monday, and Hogan will appear on "WWE Raw Backstage Pass," a "Raw" after-show on the network that's set to air live at 11:05 p.m. ET Monday.
Hogan headlined the first-ever "Wrestlemania" in 1985 and had main-event billing in eight of the first nine years of the event. His last WWE appearance came in 2007 for the 15th anniversary of "Raw." For the past few years he had been working for the rival TNA promotion, but his contract there ended last year.
