'iCarly' is 'The Good Wife's' latest iClient, 'Sesame Street' spoofs 'True Blood'

"iCarly" star Miranda Cosgrove is thankfully leaving the trashy antics that plague most child stars to the tube. She'll play a troubled pop star in an upcoming episode of "The Good Wife," who Alicia ( Julianna Margulies) signs as a client after she's charged with a DUI. ( EW)

"Californication" set its Season 4 premiere date for January 9 -- which is also the same night Showtime will debut new series "Shameless" (starring William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum) and Matt Leblanc's "Episodes." ( Showtime)

Whoa, that was fast. J.J. Abrams' potential series for "Lost" stars Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson has already landed at NBC, with a likely pilot commitment from the network. The duo could be back on the tube this time next year. [ Deadline]

With the start of Season 41 of "Sesame Street" just around the corner, a fresh crop of celebrity cameos and pop culture parodies are popping up online. And while the latest, a muppet series called "True Mud," is pretty hilarious -- do "True Blood" references have any place in children's programming? (Video below, via THR)
