Spike TV has reportedly let the TNA (Total Nonstop Action) Wrestling league know that it is choosing not to renew its TV contract. The wrestling program is currently airing its ninth season and the contract is up in October, though there is no word yet if the current season will end sooner than that now that the contract is not being renewed.

The TNA show debuted in October 2005. Alumni from TNA Wrestling include Hulk Hogan, Diamond Dallas Page, Curt Hennig, CM Punk, Dusty Rhodes, Jake Roberts, Jim Duggan, Jim Neidhart, Roddy Piper, Jimmy Snuka and Ric Flair.

For now, new episodes of "Impact Wrestling" Season 9 can be seen Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Spike TV.
