'Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret's' David Cross: 'It's very funny'
"It's good. I'm quite -- I mean, I know it's my job and that's what I'm supposed to say -- but I really am honestly very proud of it. It's very funny," says Cross.
What makes it so funny is the lovable loser lead character Todd Margaret.
"He's just one of those guys who floats through life, very little ambition, can't really stick to anything," Cross tells us. "Probably the kind of guy who will spend way more energy getting out of a job than actually doing that job. Every five or six months or so, he comes across a great idea that is going to make him a million dollars and save him time, and after starting this project, maybe three days later he stops. He's that kind of guy."
The show is based in London because Margaret is sent there for business -- a project he leaps at without a net.
"To have this opportunity to go to London, make more money than he's seen in his entire life, fall into his lap, he jumps into it and says, 'I'll deal with the consequences later.'"
