Halloween just got a whole lot creepier with the announcement of a new haunted maze at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood, based on the movie "Insidious: Chapter 2."
"Insidious: Into the Further" places visitors inside some of the scariest scenes from both "Insidious" movies, and includes many of the franchise's most terrifying characters, including the Lipstick-Face Demon, someone star Ty Simpkins told Zap2it he found to be the scariest in the movie.
Universal Studios is working closely with those involved in making the films, including director James Wan, writer and co-star Leigh Whannell and producer Jason Blum. "It's an incredible opportunity to partner with filmmakers who share our passion for bringing nightmares of the silver screen to life," says Halloween Horror Nights Creative Director John Murdy.
"Insidious: Into the Further" joins already announced mazes based on names like "The Walking Dead," Black Sabbath and "Evil Dead." Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights kicks off at both the Hollywood and Orlando, Fla. parks on September 20.
