'Iron Man 3' trailer arrives: Watch out for The Mandarin
Things are getting worse before they get better for our good friend Tony Stark.
After a number of teasers, Marvel Studios has finally unveiled the first trailer for "Iron Man 3." It's the first Marvel movie to take place after this summer's epic "The Avengers," and the trailer makes it clear that the story very much picks up in that movie's wake. Robert Downey Jr.'s Stark is a changed man, and also has a big target on his back for international criminals.
The man who steps forward to challenge him is Ben Kingsley's The Mandarin, who was finally confirmed as the film's villain at San Diego Comic-Con. We get to see his take on the classic character in this trailer and we can even catch a glimpse of his 10 rings, which should be enough to get Marvel fanboys excited.
"Iron Man 3" was directed by Shane Black, and is due out in theaters on May 3, 2013. Hopefully the next trailer we see isn't as much of a downer, since it doesn't look like Iron Man has things too easy in his third standalone cinematic outing.
What did you think of the trailer? Did it live up to the hype? Tell us in the comments below.
