One Direction had quite the time at the Brit Awards. Between winning the Global Success Award, performing their new Comic Relief charity single for the first time, Harry Styles being kept away from ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, and Liam Payne inciting a Twitter war with Boy George, the boy band must have barely had a moment to breathe.
When they did exhale on the red carpet, some words came out that we're hoping were more than just hot air. Liam told MTV he wants the group to work with Justin Timberlake. "I don't care if he's not our [style] of music but I would love to collaborate with him," Payne insisted.
Later in the night, Timberlake took the stage to perform "Mirrors" off his forthcoming album "The 20/20 Experience" before headlining his own concert in London later that night. No word on whether the 1D boys got to bend his ear backstage.
Aside from their prestigious award, the night marked 1D's first live performance of "One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks)," which, thanks to modern technology, you can watch in the video below. The official music video is set to debut soon.
Next up for Justin is a hosting gig on "SNL" and a week-long residency at "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." And of course, a rumored tour with Jay-Z.
