It's sabotage! Kids honor late Beastie Boy MCA

children-sabotage-vimeo.jpgFriends, family and fans continue to mourn the recent passing of Beastie Boys star MCA ( Adam Yauch). While everyone has their own way of remembering MCA, a group of children decided the best way to honor his memory was to remake the group's famous "Sabotage" video.

The children, none of whom appear older than eight years old, don wigs, fake mustaches and 1970s cop garb in what's pretty close to a shot-for-shot redo of the Spike Jonze-directed video. There are a few age-appropriate substitutions, most notably when the kids replace the drugs with pop rocks and the swimming pool is replaced with a kiddie pool. The video concludes with a touching sentiment toward the rocker. They write, "In loving memory of Adam 'MCA' Yauch."

Yauch died May 4 after a three-year battle with throat cancer. He was just 47 years old.

Check out the video. Sir Stewart Wallace would be proud.
