"Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville is looking to make another splash in TV. Knoxville, who stared in three seasons of the MTV series, as well as three movies based on the show, has signed a two-year overall deal with ABC, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As part of the deal, Knoxville is already developing a semi-autobiographical comedy for the network, inspired by his unconventional childhood. He also recently extended his deal with Paramount Pictures, the studio behind the "Jackass" film franchise, including the recent "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa."

Beyond "Jackass," Knoxville also executive produced, and sometimes appeared on, MTV's "Nitro Circus" and "The Dudesons in America."
