Jackson family against Debbie Rowe as Paris Jackson's guardian - report

paris-jackson-debbie-rowe-reunite.jpg Debbie Rowe, Paris Jackson's biological mother who she recently reconnected with for her 15th birthday, has said she would "gladly accept" guardianship of her daughter if a change is wanted after her suicide attempt last week.

But apparently Michael Jackson's family is none too happy about that possibility.

A source connected to the family tells TMZ that the Jackson clan believes Rowe's motivations are to put herself in the public eye, which is why she made a public statement about the guardianship change -- "If her intentions were pure she'd be speaking to the family."

TMZ points out that Rowe's public statement to the media was actually not about Paris' guardianship, but rather the suicide attempt, plus Rowe has remained out of the spotlight for years.

But TMZ is told the family will fight "tooth and nail" to keep Rowe from being named Paris' legal guardian. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff is currently reviewing Katherine Jackson's guardianship abilities to determine if Michael's mother is able to properly care for his three children.
