James Marsden is the latest name to be added to a growing list of A-listers joining the HBO cast for "Westworld." The J.J. Abrams and Jerry Weintraub sci-fi drama about a futuristic theme park inhabited by androids that fulfill human desires is already being headed up by Anthony Hopkins and Evan Rachel Wood. A slew of actors were also added last week to the quickly expanding cast.
Marsden will be playing Teddy Flood -- "a mysterious new arrival to a small frontier town. Teddy quickly proves both his charm--and his talent with a revolver. His pursuit of a local beauty launches him on a dark odyssey."
Joining Marsden in this new casting announcement are Eddie Rouse ("Being Flynn"), Demetrius Grosse ( "Justified"), Kyle Bornheimer ("She's Out of My League"), Currie Graham ( "Murder in the First"), Lena Georgas ( "Prime Suspect"), Steven Ogg ("Grand Theft Auto V"), and Timothy Lee DePriest.
"Westworld" is an adaptation from Michael Crichton's 1973 book.
