The Irish actor, who has also appeared on series "The Fall" and in Sofia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette," has been rumored as a frontrunner for weeks, with reports coming over the weekend that he had a good audition for the role of Christian Grey.

Dornan will appear opposite former "Ben & Kate" star Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. The picture, slated for an August 2014 release, will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson.

What do you think, "Fifty Shades of Grey" fans? Is Jamie Dornan a good choice?
