Jane Lynch feels 'Glee' full-time

Janelynch_glee_240 The "Glee" club at FOX just grew by one member, as Jane Lynch has been made a regular member of the cast.

Lynch is one of several actors who formerly had recurring parts on shows that have been upped to full-time status, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Austin Nichols has been promoted on "One Tree Hill," and Eddie Jemison will be a regular on HBO's new comedy "Hung."

Lynch, who's also a regular on the Starz comedy "Party Down," plays a Type-A cheerleading coach on the high-school musical dramedy "Glee." The show will air its pilot episode on FOX Tuesday, May 19 following the final "American Idol" peformances of the season, but it won't be a regular part of the FOX lineup until fall.

The perpetually busy Lynch also appears in two movies set for summer releases, "Julie & Julia" and "The Post Grad Survival Guide."

Nichols, who played the title role on HBO's "John From Cincinnati," has appeared on 11 episodes of "One Tree Hill" this season and will continue his role as a movie producer on a full-time basis next season.

Jemison, whose credits include the "Ocean's" heist movies and "Waitress," will play a dermatologist who's married to Anne Heche's character on "Hung," a dark comedy about a high school coach (Thomas Jane) with a big package. Heche plays Jane's ex-wife.

The show has also added Alanna Ubach in a recurring part as Jane's neighbor.
