Jay-Z calls Miley Cyrus 'a God,' loves Britney Spears' 'Toxic'
Jay-Z has a lot of respect for Miley Cyrus. In fact, he has so much respect for the former Disney pop star that he flat out called her "a GOD" on Twitter.
Mr. Beyonce Knowles held a rare fan Q&A to promote his new album "Magna Carta Holy Grail" and answered questions at random. One person asked, "do you think twerking should replace the electric slide at weddings?" Jay-Z's response? "Personally???YES.. Miley is a GOD."
Cyrus clearly appreciated the mention, tweeting, "Call it what you want. But I don't see Mr. Carter shoutin any of you b****es out. #twerkmileytwerk."
Of course, the shout out was also a reference to one of "Magna Carta Holy Grail's" new tracks. "Somewhereinamerica" shouts out Cyrus' twerking skills, with lyrics including, "When I was talking Instagram / Last thing you wanted was your picture snapped / Feds still lurking / They see I'm still putting work in / Cause somewhere in America / Miley Cyrus is still twerkin', HA! / Twerk, twerk, twerk, twerk / Twerk, Miley, Miley, twerk / Twerk, Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley, twerk / Twerk, yeah, ugh-huh / Twerk, Miley, Miley, Miley / Only in America."
During the Twitter Q&A, Jay-Z also revealed that his favorite Britney Spears song is "Toxic," the historical figure he'd like to spend a day with is Picasso and he's currently listening to James Blake.
