Jay Leno defends David Letterman friendship on 'The Tonight Show'Add to Favorites | The Tonight Show With Jay Leno
Andy Cohen put Jay Leno in the hot seat when he came on "The Tonight Show." The pair of hosts played a round of "Plead the Fifth," and Leno gave a somewhat surprising answer about what he thinks people's most common misconception of him is.
"Probably that people think [David] Letterman and I don't like each other. We actually do. We started out together, he still makes me laugh as much as anybody, he and Seinfeld still make me laugh. Brilliant wordsmith," Leno explains. "There's this sort of conception -- you know, the tabloids. But we don't."
Leno also says that he owns Johnny Carson a world of thanks and has a hilarious response to Cohen asking fellow guest Melissa McCarthy when the last time she watched porn was. Are you one of the people who always thought Leno and Letterman didn't get along?
