Jennie Garth buys the cow on 'A Little Bit Country'
Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? Well, if you're Jennie Garth, you do it to keep someone from turning the cow into veal.
Garth's new reality show, "Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country," premiered Friday (April 20) on CMT amid recent tabloid headlines about her pending divorce from "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli. And on the show, as she starts a new life on a central California farm with her three daughters, she also decides to give a couple of cows a chance at a new start as well.
In the bonus clip above, Garth attends a cow auction and poaches a cow away from another bidder who's planning to sell it for veal.
"Seriously? Veal? I don't eat meat for a reason," she says in the clip.
After winning a mama cow and a calf, she says, "I have no idea what I'm going to do with them, but I feel like now my farm is complete."
