Jennifer Aniston hates 'The Rachel,' Christian Bale rocks unemployment chic

jennifer-aniston-allure.jpgHer portrayal of Rachel Green on "Friends" may have rocketed Jennifer Aniston to stardom, but one thing she's not thankful for -- that famous hairdo. Aniston says of her hairstylist "I love Chris [McMillan], and he's the bane of my existence at the same time because he started that damn Rachel, which was not my best look. How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I've ever seen." Wow-za! Let's hope countless middle-aged women everywhere didn't just hear her say that... [ Allure]

In other bad hair news, Christian Bale reveals that his long locks and facial hair aren't exactly for a movie role. "This is unemployment," the actor says of his new 'do. "I haven't worked since 'The Fighter,' and it's nice to just not bother cutting your hair." Don't expect the look to last though, as Bale begins work on "The 13 Women of Nanjing" in a few weeks. "The Social Network" may have taken home top honors at Sunday's (Jan. 16) Golden Globes, but the cast and crew were one short in their celebrating. So where was Justin Timberlake? "He would have loved to be there if he wasn't working," his rep says. JT is currently shooting the action flick "Now" with Amanda Seyfried. [ Us Magazine]

Sadly, Laura Linney wasn't the only star to skip out on the Golden Globes following a death in the family. Bradley Cooper and Renée Zellweger backed out at the last minute, as Cooper's father passed away on Sat. (Jan. 15). Charles Cooper, a stock broker with Merrill Lynch, was 71-years-old. [ People]
