A day after Steven Tyler announced his departure from "American Idol," fellow judge Jennifer Lopez has done the same. She tearfully told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show Friday morning (July 13) that she is moving on from the singing competition show.

"When I signed on to 'Idol' I signed on for one year. And I wound up doing two years because I just fell in love with the show ... It was just such a lovely surprise in my life to do it," says Lopez. "I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things I do that I put on hold ... we had an amazing run."

The two were made judges two years ago after Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Ellen DeGeneres left the show.

How do you feel about this, "Idol" fans? Were you big fans of Tyler and Lopez, or are you ready for some new blood? What do you think of the Adam Lambert rumor?
