Jennifer Lopez stalker secretly lives in her Southampton home
Jennifer Lopez is lucky she wasn't staying in her Southampton, N.Y. home this week, because someone else uninvited was. A 49-year-old Rhode Island man named John M. Dubis was arrested for living in J.Lo's pool house while she was away, and wasn't noticed until workers noticed a suspicious male on the property on Aug. 8.
In a police report obtained by E! News, Dubis was charged with two felonies (criminal contempt and burglary) and two misdemeanors (possession of burglar tools and stalking). He pled not guilty before the magistrate at the Southampton Town Court.
Dubis was remanded in Suffolk County Jail, and is scheduled to return to Southampton Justice Court on Aug. 28. Interestingly, Lopez already had an order of protection against Dubis. Police say in a release that Southampton Town court ordered an exam to determine if Dubis is "fit to proceed" with court proceedings on the criminal charges.
Lopez bought the Water Mill mansion in May.
