Jenny Mollen's witty memoir 'I Like You Just The Way I Am' heads to TV

jenny-mollen-memoir-sony-tv.jpgActress and mom Jenny Mollen's ("Crazy, Stupid, Love," "Girls") hilarious memoir "I Like You Just The Way I Am" has gained a ton of praise for Mollen's witty and honest tales from her days being a working, open-minded, wife, mother and actress.

Now, thanks to Sony TV, those stories are getting a chance at coming to life on Television. Deadline reports the studio scored a TV option for the memoir in a very "competitive situation."

It is not hard to see why the book had people reportedly fighting for the rights to put it on the screen, Mollen's wifely tales are far from boring. The actress' husband, funny-man and some-times controversial tweeter, Jason Biggs even at one point, went on "The View" to defend his wife's candid story-telling of an incident featuring the "Orange Is The New Black" actor, his birthday and several hookers -- and that's not even the best story in the book.

The actress is slated to adapt and star in the TV version, which she will also executive produce, with Jamie Tarses ("Happy Endings," "Franklin & Bash", "Marry Me") and Karen Kehela Sherwood ("A Beautiful Mind," "Tower Heist").
