jerry-lawler-wwe.jpg Jerry "The King" Lawler has been hospitalized after collapsing during the live broadcast of "WWE Monday Night Raw" Sept. 10 in Montreal.

After wrestling himself earlier in the show, the 62-year-old WWE Hall of Famer passed out at the ringside announcers' table while calling another match.

Announcer Michael Cole updated viewers on his condition as the crisis unfolded.

"He was stretchered to the back," a noticeably shaken Cole said. "He is receiving medical attention as we speak. They are performing CPR."

Later, Cole told viewers: "Jerry Lawler's condition is stabilized -- he is breathing on his own."

After confirming that Lawler was in the hospital awaiting a CT scan, Cole said, "in typical Jerry Lawler fashion, he's fighting hard."

The remaining segments of "Raw" aired without commentary "out of respect" for Lawler
