Jerry Sandusky facing 2 new child rape charges
The new charges include four counts of involuntary deviant sexual intercourse and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor. The victims named in the new cases claim to have met Sandusky through the Second Mile charity, a nonprofit he founded for underprivileged children.
"Today's criminal charges were recommended by a statewide investigating grand jury, based on evidence and testimony that was received following the initial arrest of Sandusky on November 5," Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly said.
According to authorities, victim 9 was between 11 and 12 years old when he met Sandusky, who allegedly gave him gifts and money and took the child to football games. He claims Sandusky forced him to perform oral sex and attempted to penetrate him anally on at least 16 occasions.
"The victim testified that on at least one occasion he screamed for help, knowing that Sandusky's wife was upstairs, but no one ever came to help him," the grand jury report said.
Victim 10 encountered Sandusky when a counselor recommended the boy attend the Second Mile charity.
