deena-cortese-jersey-shore.jpg"Jersey Shore" star Deena Cortese has been banned for two years from the Spicy Cantina & Mexican Grill in Seaside Heights, N.J., where the MTV reality show was filmed.

The New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control fined the cantina $15,000 for serving alcohol to the "visibly intoxicated" Cortese June 10.

While MTV cameras rolled, the Guidette fell down in the bar, ran outside with a drink and into traffic, danced in the intersection and was arrested by Seaside Heights Police for disorderly conduct.

Michael Halfacre, the ABC Division's director, said, "This settlement is a cautionary tale for licensees who might think ignoring the law for the sake of air time is good for business. By turning a blind eye to the mayhem that can be associated with reality television, you are risking your livelihood. That is, without a doubt, bad for business."

If Spicy Cantina violates any other state alcohol laws during the next two years, its liquor license could be suspended for 10 days.

"Jersey Shore's" sixth and final season debuts Oct. 4 on MTV.
