'Jersey Shore's' Jenni 'JWoww' Farley talks advice book and not drinking underage
The latest Jersey book will be an advice guide for ladies who are looking to "land a mint guy," stay "fresh to death" and kick their "competition to the curb." Earlier this year, cast mate and BFF Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi released a novel titled "A Shore Thing."
"I just wanted to show girls and guys to learn from my mistakes," Farley explains to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
The hosts challenged her when it comes to her targeted audience though, as the book will predictably include discussion on the partying, promiscuous behavior of her and her "Jersey Shore" housemates. Farley insists, however, that her book isn't meant to give advice to young fans.
"The drinking and obviously like, sexual things, I don't want to put it out there for my fans under 21," she says. "I wasn't like that at that age. I didn't drink before I was 21."
Say, what? Farley turns 25 this month, and while she is still our favorite cast member on the Shore, we have a tough time believe this bold statement. We guess she does seem like the most likely candidate on the show to actually be a law abiding citizen most of the time, but still. We call B.S.
"The Rules According to JWoww" hits bookshelves Tuesday (Feb. 8). Now that Snooks is already a New York Times Bestselling author, do you think JWoww will be able to follow in her footsteps?
Watch the full interview below. Pay special attention to Farley's discomfort with the immediate Snooki bashing that takes place, when Gifford thanks the reality star for "dressing like a lady, as opposed to some other people."
For the record, this is what Snooki wore during her "Today Show" appearance.
