Jenni "JWOWW" Farley is pounding the pavement and making media appearances Thursday (Feb. 17) in Los Angeles promoting her new book, "The Rules According to JWOWW," a collection of lessons the "Jersey Shore" star has learned in her previous relationships.
"It is my life. So, it's kind of hard to see that people are intrigued with my life, me being me," she tells us about her surprise to see so many fans at her book signings.
"I'm not an actor," she adds. "I don't play a character. I'm just being me. So, that people are just fans of me? It's insane. It's a great feeling."
Zap2it caught up with the curvaceous and tanned MTV star after her interview on the KTLA News Morning Show to talk about her book, the drama on "Jersey Shore" this season, and the fame it has brought her.
Over the three seasons of the MTV show, JWOWW has been a part of a lot of onscreen drama. This season, though, she went through a painful breakup while the cameras rolled. But, she's finding that there's a bright side to going through all that in front of a national audience.
"It was something I had never thought would happen," JWOWW tells us. "I mean I know I didn't want to be with him, but I never thought it would go down that way. And the only thing I can says is I'm actually happy that it went down that way, because a lot of female fans can relate. They can relate to me and Tom's relationship or Sam and Ron's. And they just want to know that it will be okay after a breakup. And I'm kind of proof that it will be."
Spoiler alert! JWOWW recovered really quickly after the breakup and started dating Roger, a "Jersey" local, and guess what? He's still around. He was at KTLA, too, and looking very dapper in a suit. JWOWW says this one's definitely a keeper.
"Roger was part of the inspiration of writing the book," she tells us.
Not all relationships started at the shore end like JWOWW's. In fact we just watched as Sammi Giancola packed her things and left after a brutal breakup with Ronnie Magro. JWOWW tells us she's still friends with both cast mates. But when we asked her what life would be like in the house without Sammi, she told us that Ronnie is the one we should worry about.
"It's not a question that Sammi's not around," she says. "It's a question of is Ronnie going to stay. He takes a turn for the worse. He's really upset over it."
Guess we'll just have to wait and see if Sammi and Ronnie will be joining the cast when they shoot Season 4 in Italy. JWOWW says the crew will be Euro-GTL'ing it in March or April. Now, that will be entertaining.
