'Jersey Shore's' Ronnie indicted for Season 1 punch

After watching a recent "Jersey Shore" Season 1 marathon on VH1 (which we're not embarrassed to admit, by the way), we were reminded of that time Ronnie knocked some guy out at Seaside Heights and was taken away in 'cuffs.

The brawl is said to have occurred on Sept. 4, 2009, but apparently the punch has neither been forgiven nor forgotten.

TMZ reports that on Friday (Dec. 17), over a year after the knockout, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was indicted by a grand jury in Ocean County. The reality star has been charged with one count of third-degree assault and if convicted, will face up to five years in state prison.

As for the guy who didn't fare so well in the fight, Stephen Izzo has issued a law suit against Ortiz-Magro, MTV and the "Jersey Shore" producers.

Ron-Ron isn't the only B-list celebrity to be indicted on Friday. Former "Melrose Place" star Amy Locane also faces serious legal troubles following a fatal car accident in June. Coincidentally, both incidents stem from New Jersey.
