jessica-sanchez-american-idol-finale.jpgAlthough the "American Idol" Season 11 top 10 have been rehearsing for weeks in preparation for the American Idol Live summer tour, when the cross-country trek begins in Detroit on July 6, don't expect all the kinks to be worked out just yet.

Runner-up Jessica Sanchez tells Zap2it, "I'm excited. It's going to be our first show and we're going to have no idea what we're doing on stage, so it's going to be great to see us all flopping around and falling on stage."

Don't worry, it'll still be a great show. "We've just been goofing around a lot [in rehearsals]," Sanchez explains. "It's going to be hilarious to watch. I'm going to be dancing, and couple of other people are going to be dancing too with me, and it's just going to be crazy to see us acting like fools."

Sanchez, who just signed a deal with Interscope Records, says her tour set will show "a different side of me [than what you saw on 'Idol']. I'm not going to be doing a lot of the powerhouse ballads where I'm just going be standing there, I'm going to be dancing."

As for the album, Sanchez stresses that it too will be different than what you heard her sing on "Idol." It'll be more contemporary, radio-friendly R&B.

"What I did on the show was more competition mode. It was to show my vocals -- 'let's sing some Celine Dion and Mariah Carey.' Now it's like, 'I'm Jessica Sanchez and I have to do me,'" she says. "It's more of the urban, Rihanna kind of feel and the R&B kind of stuff. A little bit of pop. It's just a big mixture of stuff, so it's exciting."
