Jessica Simpson pregnant again, won't continue Weight Watchers program
Jessica Simpson has officially confirmed she is pregnant again. Less than a month after the first rumors of baby number two being on the way for the Weight Watchers spokeswoman hit the web, Simpson has taken to Twitter to share the big news.
"Merry Christmas from my family to yours!" she tweeted, along with an image that shows baby Maxwell Drew sitting in front of the words "Big sis."
In case that wasn't clear enough for you, Weight Watchers has released a video where Simpson flat-out announces her new pregnancy.
"I'm Jessica Simpson, and this year is all about new beginnings for me," she says in the above ad. "I lost over 50 pounds on Weight Watchers, and did not have to be perfect to do it. Being healthy has become a part of who I am, which is great timing, because I'm having another baby. I feel like I'm on top of the world."
Simpson signed a deal to be Weight Watchers' spokesperson back in May, and though she'll continue to be just that, a rep for the weight loss program says Simpson "will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician, as is recommended for any woman during pregnancy. After she gives birth, Jessica and her doctor will decide when she may resume following the Weight Watchers program."
