Jessica Simpson grew up in a family of girls, so she is looking forward to bringing a little brother into her daughter Maxwell's life. The mom-to-be recently threw a baby shower for her upcoming son in Los Angeles and gushed about how much she's looking forward to give birth again.

"I'm so excited to have a son. He got all these cute vintage cars and I got a lot of little leather jackets I can't wait to try out!" Simpson tells People. It sounds like this new child will be into fashion like his mother even though he's a guy.

The baby shower was Tom Sawyer-themed and was attended by people like Simpson's fiancé Eric Johnson, her mother Tina Simpson and her sister Ashley Simpson. Though the party included junk food like fried chicken and grilled cheese, Simpson says she's kept her weight down this time she's expecting.

"This pregnancy I'm active. I've only gained half of what I gained in my first pregnancy," she says, confirming she works out three times a week with a trainer. As for the fact she's giving birth to a boy, Simpson says, "I didn't grow up with a brother and I think the unknown is really exciting. I can't wait to have that connection with our little man."

This is Simpson's second child with Johnson. The duo reportedly plans to marry on either July or August after Simpson gives birth in June.
