Jim Carrey gains Owen Wilson in heist comedy 'Loomis Fargo'
Jim Carrey is getting some solid comedy back up for his new heist film. The formerly-titled "Loomis Fargo" recently gained Owen Wilson as one of its male leads.
Based on a true story, the movie tells the tale of a disgruntled bank employee who teams up with his work crush and a group of accomplices to rob the business they work for. They manage to steal $20 million, meaning their challenge isn't to pull off the heist, but rather to succeed in it.
"Loomis Fargo" is being produced by Relativity Media and directed by "Napoleon Dynamite's" Jared Hess. The screenplay has gone through various incarnations after originally being penned by Emily Spivey, later being written by Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer and later by Danny McBride and Jody Hill.
This isn't the only exciting comedy Carrey has lined up. He and Jeff Daniels are reteaming for "Dumb and Dumber To." E! News reports that Universal Pictures recently inked a deal to release the new Peter and Bobby Farrelly comedy.
