Is "The Big Bang Theory's" Jim Parsons ready to be a father? According to a new rumor, he and his partner Todd Spiewak are considering a surrogate to make their baby dreams come true.

The National Enquirer, which admittedly isn't always the most reliable news source, claims 40-year-old Parsons has finally caved to Spiewak's desire to have children. The couple has been dating for more than 10 years, but thus far hasn't started a family.

"Todd's wanted kids forever, but Jim said he didn't know if he could handle the pressure. But he's very much in love with Todd and he's finally come around," an insider tells the site.

So what made Parsons change his mind? According to the Enquirer, none other than "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris.

"Now, Jim's more confident he can take this major step in his life with Todd," the source says.
