Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers joke about passing 'Late Night' torch
Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers shared the stage on "Late Night" and joked about what it will be like when Meyers takes over the show from Fallon. The video, which can be watched above, shows the great chemistry the two "Saturday Night Live" alums have and bodes well for when they're both running NBC's late night shows.
Meyers addresses the frequently asked question about whether or not he'll inherit The Roots from Fallon along with "Late Night." "I think they think it's like you're going to college and I just get your stuff," he quips. Sounds to us like The Roots will be following Fallon to "The Tonight Show."
The pair also crack jokes about what the marketing strategy will be for them when the late night shift takes place. "I was thinking, there's going to be like us on billboards and we have to figure out our poses. Are we going to back-to-backer it?" Meyers suggests. Fallon thinks they should do a "skydiver and instructor pose," but Meyers wins the idea contest with his suggestion they stand there "no nonsense" and have the words "Rizzoli & Isles" under them.
Are you looking forward to Meyers taking over "Late Night"?
