It's Jay Leno's last week as host of "The Tonight Show" and one of his final guests was Jimmy Fallon, who will take over the show after the Winter Olympics.
The two late-night talk show hosts shared a little banter with each other, but the fun came when Leno asked Fallon if he'll bring any of his "Late Night" bits to "The Tonight Show." One thing Fallon definitely can't leave behind are his thank you notes.
He even brought some to write out to Leno. Naturally, he threw out a few jokes in them. "Thank you, Jay, for teaching me how to be a late-night host -- but was it really necessary for me to 'wax on, wax off' your entire car collection? I didn't know I was going to get Miyagi-ed when I came out here," he writes, followed by, "Thank you, Jay, for giving me such great advice for the 'Tonight Show' like 'you don't need a monologue' and 'have you ever thought about getting bangs?'"
However, he also had a heartfelt message for Leno, finishing with, "And finally, thank you Jay Leno, for carrying on the proud tradition of the 'Tonight Show' host with such humor and class and for being nothing but gracious and generous to me over the past years. I will do my best to make you proud every single night."
"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" debuts Feb. 17.
