Joe Manganiello to join Matt Bomer in 'Magic Mike,' Steven Soderbergh's ode to the male torso

A few days after news broke that Matthew McConaughey had signed on, and less than 24 hours on the heels of the glorious news that "White Collar" star Matt Bomer will also join, EW reports that "True Blood" star and oft shirtless hunk Joe Manganiello is in final talks to join the film as "Big Dick Richie."

The trio join the previously cast Alex Pettyfer and Channing Tatum, who'll take on the titular role of Mike.

Little has been revealed of the plot aside from the fact that Mike, a veteran stripper, will teach a younger dancer (Pettyfer) how to hustle, though McConaughey is set to play a former stripper who owns the club where the rest of the cast works.

Up until this point, films about adult entrainment have generally been comical ("Showgirls") or depressing ("Boogie Nights") but "Magic Mike" just might be a slightly artistic excuse for us to giggle and blush for approximately two hours.
