Joel Grey watches daughter Jennifer get perfect score on 'Dancing With the Stars'

joel-grey.jpgBroadway legend, Academy Award winner and one time "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" villain Joel Grey showed up on Week 8 of "Dancing With the Stars," and sadly... it wasn't to dance.

He was there for daughter Jennifer Grey, who -- despite taking a  continued physical beating -- earned Season 11's first perfect score with her "Instant" Rumba to Foreigner's "Waiting for a Girl Like You."

The senior Grey showed up during the week's rehearsals to watch his daughter practice and remind her of how well she's been connecting with the series audience. Carrie Ann Inaba later echoed his sentiments just before doling out the season's best scores yet.

So now that she's back on the leader board, is Grey still thinking of calling it quits? Not a chance. "It's just going to hurt," she said of her grueling rehearsals, when Zap2it caught up with her backstage. "You have to make a relationship with the pain. It'll get better when I stop dancing."

Given the warm reception, that won't happen until after the Nov. 23 finale.
