Though it's being reported that "Community" will not end up with a sixth season on Hulu, the show could still find life elsewhere. If you're starting to lose hope, just look to star Joel McHale to guide you toward the light.
Zap2it sat down with McHale at the junket for his new movie, "Deliver Us From Evil," and he still believes it could have a future. "I'm hopeful that it's going to come back on the internet. I mean, that's what the rumor is," he says. "I haven't heard anything yet but if it happens, I'm happy to do it because I think it should get a sixth season, at least."
He continues, "It's so hard to get anything on the air and have it stay on the air, as it is in TV. The outcry from the fans and the critics was so wonderfully loud that I think that's part of the reason it is where it is right now."
Should the fans and critics get their wish, a "Community" that exists online could be even crazier than it was on NBC. "Dan Harmon writing unencumbered, writing on the internet is going to be pretty great," McHale says. "Let the fireworks begin."
