He's done it again. Competitive eating king Joey Chestnut won Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest for the eighth time, chowing down on 61 hot dogs in only 10 minutes, ESPN reports.
The total doesn't quite reach his record-breaking 69 hot dogs in 2013, but was enough to retain his crown. Still, it was close as Matt Stonie took second place with an astonishing 56 hot dogs.
Though he won, the contest still wasn't the most important part of the day for Chestnut. Before the eating began, he proposed to his girlfriend Neslie Ricasa. She said yes, before cheering her new fiance on to victory.
In the women's division, Miki Sudo bested defending champion Sonya Thomas by wolfing down 34 hot dogs. Thomas was only able to stomach 27.
