Brolin joins original Sin City cast members Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Jaime King, and Rosario Dawson, as well as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who was announced as joining the cast yesterday. Other cast replacements include Jaime Chung taking over for Devon Aoki and Dennis Haysbert replacing the late Michael Clarke Duncan.

In a statement, directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller say, "Dwight is a constant character throughout the 'Sin City' world, and 'A Dame to Kill For' is a defining episode in his life. We're looking forward to Josh's take on Dwight."

"Sin City: A Dame To Kill For" is currently in production at Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios in Austin, Tex. and is scheduled to be released October 4.
